iWatt designs, develops and manufactures power supply control ICs. At iWatt, we are revolutionizing the world of power supply design with our patented adaptive digital control technology.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Sr. Staff Design Engineer to join our operations team at this dynamic, fabless semiconductor company.

Duties:

• Major contributor and technical leader in DCDC analog and/or PM IC design and applications.
  • Complete analog and/or PMIC design from product definition and/or system algorithm definitions to product delivery using state of the art tools for design, simulation, layout, test, and characterization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of overall design flow.

  Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • MSEE (PhD preferred) with 7+ years industry experience in Analog and/or PM IC design
    • Expertise in analog and/or PM IC design with proficiency in Cadence Spectre and other analog front-end simulations, Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre back-end tools and PM IC test/characterization equipment
    • Expertise in PM IC industry standards related to power supply requirements and specifications
    • Expert knowledge of device level physics, analog and transistor level circuit design, layout and computer aided design tools.
    • Requires an understanding of CAD tools and environments – design workstations, LINUX and Cadence/Mentor design systems
    • Ability to work in a team environment with system, digital and analog design engineers, production/test and applications
    • Experience and understanding of LED TV system is a big plus
