Engineering Technician Specialist (Fort Collins, CO)

We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Engineering Technician Specialist to join our team. Description / Purpose of Position: Be part of the team that develops most advanced and energy efficient power supply systems for computing and networking server applications Responsibilities: Assist engineers in the design, development, fabrication of prototypes and test fixtures. Design power supply circuits based on previously used topologies to meet specific parameters, including loop stability, magnetic design, and worse case component analysis. Apply new product release and engineering change procedures to support the product during and after its transition into manufacturing. Provide technical support to manufacturing, test, and customer support. Maintain detailed and accurate notebooks and logs of all assigned activities. Write reports summarizing results of experiments. Assist with transition of engineering prototype units to manufacturing released products. Requirements: AA/ASEE with 5-10 years of engineering tech experience. Experience using oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures. Experience reading schematic and blueprints. Experience soldering small components. Experience with safety compliance design practices and procedures. Experience troubleshooting high and low voltage power supplies preferred. Ability to work independently with little assistance from engineers. Ability to multi-task efficiently. Demonstrated ability to theoretically understand and analyze information. Excellent computational and technical skills.
